Chimney Caps

All chimneys need to be covered to prevent issues caused by wind, rain, and animal entry. Moisture from rain causes the chimney to erode; in addition to developing mold and rust. An open chimney is also a great location for animals, especially raccoons, squirrels and birds to make a home. Moreover, there is the potential of the animals getting trapped inside and have to remove them. All chimney covers are made from either metal or stainless steel and are installed by our technicians. We can make custom caps as needed.

Chimney crowns are designed to channel moisture away from the top of the chimney and out of the chimney chase. Unfortunately this area breaks down with age and if left unattended, damage to the chimney increases. A chimney sealant that is applied to the crown keeps moisture out, increasing chimney life.
